Saffron Paddy

I am a self-taught artist and mother of three creative little ones. I started painting seriously with the arrival of my eldest daughter in 2001.

At this time I was part of a wonderful group of creative women called The Wild Sisters.  I loved working in collaboration with other women: inspiring each other, supporting each other and sharing the load.  However it was a difficult balancing act trying to juggle my art with motherhood.

In 2006 I was part of a group of mothers who formed WoM.A.N. Mother.Artists.Network. Working with WoM.A.N. has been a wonderful experience.

I have loved painting alongside the children and they have thrived on being part of something that is so important to me. I cherish the moments we have spent together, laughing, playing and creating. I feel very blessed to be on this journey with these lovely women and our beautiful children.
